Prioritized Spending We need to ensure that state money is being spent responsibly and with taxpayer return on investment in mind. I will work to provide more efficient budgets that fund essential services while providing the responsible growth our economy needs.

Protecting Life Being pro-life means protecting the sanctity and dignity of human life. I am 100% pro-life and will support policies to reduce the number of abortions.

Defending the Second Amendment As a firm believer in the Constitution of the United States, I will stand for the rights of law-abiding citizens to responsibly keep and bear arms.

Improving Education Education decisions should be made locally by parents and educators. For years, Utah has spent less per student than most other states in the nation. Many school districts struggle to recruit and retain good teachers. Working together, the legislature, school districts, and families can solve the issues facing Utah schools and ensure that every student has the opportunity for a quality education and a bright future.

Infrastructure/ Transportation As Utah continues to grow, so will our transportation and infrastructure needs. Planning for the future is more than widening roads and freeways; we must create other, innovative, fiscally sound, and environmentally responsible ways to address our infrastructure, transportation, and water needs now and in the future.

As your state representative making decisions that affect the lives of Utah residents, I will ask myself:

Is this constitutional?

How will this be funded?

Does this support and strengthen families?

Is this issue better resolved locally?

Does this infringe on personal freedom?

Is this fiscally responsible and sustainable?

What are the unintended consequences?

Have all the stakeholders been listened to?

Is this a vendor bill?

Does this help us responsibly prepare for the future?
